Our Team
Dr Chen Cai
Co-founder
Dr. Cai is a co-founder of neucore.ai. His role is to manage the company on day-to-day basis, build team, develop products, and grow commercial opportunities. Prior to this, he earned his remark as an innovator and industry specialist in AI/ML for his role as a research group leader at CSIRO's Data61 (2019-2022), Australia's national centre of excellence in data science. There he founded Transport Analytics group to focus on AI/ML for innovative solutions in transport and infrastructure use cases. He served on the board of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Australia from 2017 to 2021. He had a short stint at Ernst Young (Australia) as a senior manager from 2022 to 2023, where he drove the development of new consulting capabilities in Generative AI and digital twin. He earned his PhD from University College London back in 2010.
